a spontaneous life elevated.

I woke up on Saturday and I was pretty grumpy. It was 8am and I had to get up and get ready for a fireside on campus. As some of you may know I am not a morning person at all. As I was getting ready I didn't have high hopes that it was going to be a very good Saturday or weekend as far as I was concerned. After the fireside Amy suggested that we go and see if Costa Vida was open. (we've been waiting for it to open for weeks!!). We got there and YES it was open :) we started to feel better about our day. To make it even better, when we got up to pay they told us it was FREE. Yes, you heard me FREE. To say the least we were pretty happy with how our day was turning out. We went home and started listening to a band that we love, Rooney. We wondered when and where their next show was. Tara looked it up and guess what...it was that night in Salt Lake City. We HAD to go! We found out that tickets were sold out but we were going to go anyways. It was 2:30 pm, the concert was at 7 pm, we could make it. We grabbed our stuff, jumped in the car and were gone by 3. We decided not to go to Rooney since we didn't think we could get tickets. We kept driving and ended up in Provo where we surprised one of our favorite girls around, DANA! She was so surprised, it was hilarious. As you can tell we were LOVING our Saturday now. Overall, it was a fabulous weekend and one of the best road trips I have been on.
